2008 Car Raffle Rules

Immaculata-La Salle High School ("ILS")is a not-for-profit organization organized
under the laws of the State of Florida. The following rules govern this raffle:
1. The purchase price of a single raffle ticket is $100.00. Checks or money orders
should be made payable to "Immaculata-La Salle", major credit cards are also
valid forms of payment. Payments are not tax deductible. If the bank dishonors an
entrant's check, the entry ticket will be declared invalid unless full payment is
received prior to the drawing.
2. Completed entries must be in the possession of ILS, before 3 PM on May 10,
2008 in order to be eligible for the 2008 car drawing. No more than 1,000 tickets
will be sold. Any tickets and payments turned in after the closure of the raffle will
be returned to the entrants. All tickets will be recorded on a first come, first served
basis.
3. Purchasers of raffle tickets must be licensed drivers over 18 years of age or
older on or before May 10, 2008. Anyone meeting this criteria is eligible to enter
this raffle.
4. (Grand) Prize shall be a new 2008 standard, automatic or stick shift Nissan
350Z which is subject to these rules. Color of vehicle is determined based on
dealer availability on lot at time of drawing. ILS reserves the right to select a
vehicle color prior to drawing. Grand Prize may be substituted for a 2008
standard, automatic or stick shift 4-door Nissan Altima or the equivalent of
$15,000 in cash and prizes.
5. Names of all winners will be made available to the media, will be posted at the
ILS website, and in the ILS newsletter.
6. Winning ticket will be determined by random drawing, by a neutral party. The
Grand Prize drawing date will be Thursday, May 15, 2008 at Immaculata-La Salle
High School. Winners need not be present to win. Winners will be notified by
telephone and/or mail.
7. The delivery of the vehicle would be made available to the winner as soon as
reasonable; however, there may be a delay in delivery because of the availability
of the vehicle. The winner is responsible for the transportation of the vehicle.
8. Winners will assume and be responsible for all licensing, registration, and all
other fees, local, state and federal taxes, including and without limitation all
applicable sales, use, withholding, luxury, income and special taxes.
IMMACULATA_LA SALLE SPECIFICALLY DISCLAIMS ALL EXPRESSED OR
IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND
FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE REGARDING THE AUTOMOBILES
9. If 500 tickets are not sold by May 10, 2008. ILS has the right to modify the prize
structure as described here:
* If less than 500 (half of total) tickets are sold, a dollar amount equal to no more than $10,000 of the total monies collected will be substituted as a grand prize.
* If 501 - 800 tickets are sold, the Grand Prize is canceled and a single winner will
collect $10,000 or a prize equal to that amount and ILS will collect the remaining
net proceeds from the ticket sales. Net proceeds from ticket sales are the total
receipts from the sale of tickets less the direct costs incurred by ILS in connection
with the raffle, including the cost of producing the tickets and related material and
advertising the raffle.
10. More than one name may be stated on the ticket registration form; however,
the first name listed shall be the "entrant." Payment or delivery of any prize will be
made to the "entrant." The entrant must provide his/her social security number, if
he/she is a winner. It is the sole responsibility of the entrant to allocate a winning
prize to other participants in a multiple entry.
11. All employees of Immaculata-La Salle high school are eligible to participate int
he drawing excluding the Director of Alumni Relations and the Principal.
11.The decision of ILS will be final in all matters pertaining to this raffle.
